Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of services by Hair & Beauty by Sandyrule (“we”, “our”, “us”). By booking an appointment, purchasing products, or using our website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Business Information

Hair & Beauty by Sandyrule is a sole trader business operating in England and Wales.

3. Services

We provide professional hair and beauty services including, but not limited to:

• Knotless Braids
• Boho Braids
• Tribal Braids
• Cornrows
• Feed-in Braids
• Single Box Braids
• Twists
• Faux Locs
• Soft Locs
• Butterfly Locs
• Loc Maintenance
• Wig Installation
• Wig Revamp
• Wig Customisation
• Sew-ins
• Bridal Hair
• Silk Press
• Hair Colouring
• Relaxers
• Chemical Treatments
• Hair Consultations
• Hair Extensions
• Hair Care Products
• Kids Hairstyles
• Men’s Hairstyles

Services may change without prior notice.

4. Bookings

Appointments are available by booking only. Bookings may be made via:

• Website
• TidyCal
• WhatsApp
• Telephone
• Other approved booking channels

Appointments are confirmed only after the required deposit has been received.

5. Deposits

A non-refundable booking deposit of £20 is required to secure every appointment. Deposits:

• are non-refundable;
• may be transferred once where at least 48 hours’ notice is given;
• remain valid for one month from the original appointment date;
• are forfeited if the appointment is cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice or the client fails to attend.

6. Payments

We currently accept:

• Cash
• Bank Transfer
• Stripe

The remaining balance must be paid immediately upon completion of the service. Hair & Beauty by Sandyrule reserves the right to withhold any completed work, including wigs or other items, until payment has been received in full.

7. Prices

Prices displayed on our website or price list are subject to change. Final prices may vary depending on factors including:

• Hair length
• Hair thickness
• Hair condition
• Time required
• Additional products
• Hair supplied
• Requested add-ons

Any price adjustments will be discussed with the client before the service begins whenever reasonably possible.

8. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Clients must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule an appointment. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the loss of the booking deposit. No-shows will lose their deposit and may be required to pay in full before any future appointment is accepted. Hair & Beauty by Sandyrule reserves the right to decline future bookings where appointments have repeatedly been missed or cancelled.

9. Late Arrivals

A 20-minute grace period applies. Clients arriving more than 20 minutes late will incur a £10 late fee. Appointments may be shortened or cancelled where lateness affects the appointment schedule. Appointments delayed by approximately one hour may be cancelled at our discretion.

10. Mobile Appointments

Clients booking mobile appointments agree to provide:

• A clean working area.
• Suitable lighting.
• Access to an electrical socket.
• A suitable chair.

Travel fees apply in accordance with our pricing. Parking charges, congestion charges, tolls, permits or similar costs required to complete the appointment are the responsibility of the client.

11. Patch Testing and Chemical Services

Patch testing is required where appropriate for colouring, relaxers and other chemical treatments. Patch tests should normally be completed at least 48 hours before the appointment. Failure to complete a required patch test may result in the service being cancelled. Clients must disclose any allergies, scalp conditions, skin conditions, pregnancy, medications or other relevant medical information before treatment. Hair & Beauty by Sandyrule reserves the right to refuse any treatment where it may pose a risk to the client or stylist.

12. Children

Children under 15 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Children under 4 years old are accepted only in exceptional circumstances and must remain under close supervision throughout the appointment.

13. Photography and Marketing

Photographs or videos will only be taken with the client’s consent. With permission, images may be used on:

• Website
• Instagram
• Facebook
• TikTok
• Marketing materials

Clients may withdraw consent at any time for future use.

14. Refunds and Corrections

Due to the nature of professional hair and beauty services, refunds are not provided for completed services. If a client is dissatisfied, they should notify Hair & Beauty by Sandyrule within 48 hours of the appointment. Where appropriate, we may offer a corrective service at our discretion. Corrective services will not normally be offered where another stylist has altered, removed or re-done the original work before we have had the opportunity to assess it.

15. Retail Products

Where products, wigs or hair extensions are supplied:

• Clients should inspect items upon receipt.
• Products should be used in accordance with any care instructions provided.
• Hygiene-related products may not be eligible for return unless faulty or required by law.

16. Client Conduct

We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful and welcoming environment. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a service where a client:

• behaves aggressively or abusively;
• uses threatening, discriminatory or inappropriate language;
• attends under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
• compromises health or safety;
• repeatedly breaches these Terms & Conditions.

In such circumstances, deposits and payments may be forfeited.

17. Personal Belongings

Clients remain responsible for their personal belongings. Hair & Beauty by Sandyrule accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal items unless required by law.

18. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including photographs, logos, branding, text and graphics, remains the property of Hair & Beauty by Sandyrule unless otherwise stated. No material may be copied, reproduced or used without prior written permission.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hair & Beauty by Sandyrule shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

20. Force Majeure

Hair & Beauty by Sandyrule shall not be liable for delays or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, illness, vehicle breakdown, government restrictions, power failures or other unforeseen events.

21. Privacy

Your personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please read our Privacy Policy before booking our services.

22. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be published on our website.

23. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
